We’re “Bringing it Home” in honor of the late Honorable William “Pete” Cunningham. A native of Union County who served in the 82 nd Airborne at a young age and retired Navy after 20 years of service to his country. A lifetime
member of the VFW Post 212 in Monroe, NC. and a lifetime member of the NAACP.
A passion for service led him to the North Carolina General Assembly when he was elected to serve as a NC State Representative of district 107 in Mecklenburg County. He retired from the NCGA after 21 years of service to the people of his district and the state. Today he still is affectionately remembered as a servant of the people.
He left a legacy of service. As his widow, primary caregiver, nurse, and friend I am continuing a journey of hope, health advocacy, and public service for the next generation.
Join us on October 30, 2023, at the beautiful Monroe Country Club for a day of Golf, Health Advocacy, and Fun while shining a light on Men’s health. Let’s Tee off for Men’s Health.
Thank you,
Rep. Carla D. Cunningham
